Hornblower - Preorders Closed


Hornblower is a new colorway, inspired by our incredible trip to Canada a handful of years ago.  How did I come up with it, you ask? Well, we took a family roadtrip vacation to Canada which was amazing.  I pulled out all those old pics from that trip and used them for inspiration on this colorway.

The resounding theme? Water! Whether it was Niagara Falls, all sorts of rapids, or the Great Lakes, water was everywhere in the landscapes of our family photos, and I knew it was going to be the focus of my show special.

You can preorder this very special new colorway on Uptown Sock base, a super squishy fingering weight yarn.  Uptown Sock is 80% Superwash Merino and 20% Nylon.  Each 100 gram skein is 400 yds.


This preorder yarn is dyed to order and will ship in 1-3 weeks.

  • How long will it take to receive my order?

    In stock items will be processed in 3-5 days, plus shipping time. Dyed to order, preorders, and Clubs take longer, and details can be found on the product page. If you are unsure of how long an item may take to ship, please feel free to reach out via my Contact Me page and I am happy to help you!

  • Do you offer custom orders?

    At this time, custom orders are unavailable. If you are looking for a colorway that I normally stock, in amounts not currently in stock, please use the Dyed to Order option on the website, or use the Contact Me form for more help.

    As a one person show, I will do my best to get back to you as soon as I can.  You can generally expect a reply within 24-48 hours Monday through Friday.  Emails received over the weekend will be answered Monday.  Exceptions to this will be noted in an announcement bar at the top of the store homepage, in the rare case that I am unavailable (i.e. vacation, family emergency, etc.).  Your satisfaction is important to me, so I am happy to help!
